Talking about her dream, Kaushiki says, “I wanted to be an actor since childhood. For me, becoming an actor was the first and the last choice for my career. But to pursue acting wasn’t like a walk in the park because I belong from a non-filmy background. For my family members, it was a big deal to be an actor. Plus, I belong to a small town where people don’t dream big, so they used to consider it as a ‘joke’ when I told them I wanted to be an actor.”
Further talking about her support system, Kaushiki says, “I am thankful to my siblings who supported my dreams and inspired me to act. They have been with me through thick and thin. I remember that I came to Mumbai with dreams in my eyes and a desire to reach the destinations. Today, I am happy to call myself a small town girl because this will inspire girls from small towns to come forward.”
